Scheduling Process
Teachers begin submitting course recommendations for students shortly after mid-term exams. Once teacher recommendations are complete, counselors begin meeting with students to plan their courses for the following year. Students are given the opportunity to make elective choices in their homerooms. However, elective choices are not guarenteed!

Schedule Change Requests
Student requests for changes are acceptable during the planning period (March through May). The Guidance Department will sometimes have to make changes to a student's schedule in June when final grades are received and in the summer when summer school grades are complete. Student requests for changes after the start of the new school year are restricted to the following:

- Changes due to courses passed in Summer School or a previous year
- Changes due to failed courses
- Major subjects missing from student schedule
